iP60-50 Waterjet Intensifier Pump
The Jet Edge iP60-50 is a 50-horsepower water jet intensifier pump rated at 60,000 psi (4,100 bar). It is capable of producing output pressures from 1,000 to 55,000 psi (3,800 bar) with flow rates of 0 to 1 gallons (3.8 liters) per minute to a variety of cutting, surface-preparation or cleaning tools.
The iP60-50 water jet pump features a TUV-certified attenuator that complies with ASME pressure vessel standards, to minimize pressure fluctuations.
The high-efficiency, totally enclosed, fan cooled (TEFC) electric motor with wye-delta "soft start" ensures high reliability, long service life and minimal energy usage. The motor drives an axial piston, variable displacement, pressure-compensated type hydraulic pump.
A programmable logic controller (PLC) monitors and controls all machine functions, and automatically energizes relays to light the warning lamps in the event of potentially damaging conditions.
Like all Jet Edge UHP water jet intensifier pumps, the iP60-50 offers complete flexibility for waterjet cutting, cleaning or coating removal applications.

The iP60-50 water jet pump features numerous design improvements. They include:
- Non-contact wet electronic stroke sensor improves performance and reliability

- Pistons can be changed in the field by users without any special tooling
- No special torque wrenches required
- Standard design Grade 8 fasteners are available through local sources or Jet Edge if required
- High-pressure water and hydraulic end caps are solid stainless steel providing longer life and improving performance over plated model designs
- Low pressure and high pressure tie rod design allows for specific torque values to be applied to the hydraulic and ultra-high pressure cylinders
- Inlet water pressure requirements have been reduced to 30 PSI; booster pump is only required if customer's inlet water pressure is below 30 PSI
