Water Jet Solid-Phase Abrasive Delivery System

The Jet Edge Solid-Phase Delivery system conveys abrasive over long distances to produce an abrasive waterjet (abrasivejet) capable of cutting through virtually any material. Using compressed air, the system creates an even distribution of abrasive flow that is essential to achieve reliable cutting results.

A pressurized hopper is used a force abrasive to a single or multiple cutting head configuration. Each cutting head is individually controlled by a Secondary Metering Hopper to achieve its predetermined flow rate. A metering system consists of a dial wheel with various size holes that can be easily changed to achieve the desired flow rate of abrasive to the cutting head. The Solid-Phase Delivery System's large storage capacity supports hours of uninterrupted abrasive water jet (abrasivejet) cutting.
