Water Jet Abrasive Removal Systems
Abrasive Removal Systems are specifically designed to continuously remove spent garnet from the waterjet catch tank. Sweeper nozzles installed in the water jet catch tank push the suspended garnet toward pump suction. Garnet is removed by a centrifugal separator which is fed by a heavy duty sealless pump. A self-dumping hopper receives the sludge and the clean water is returned to the catch tank via the sweeper nozzles. The Abrasive Removal System reduces waterjet machine downtime and eliminates catch tank maintenance.
