UltraLite Lance - Mobile Waterjet Cutting, Stripping, Cleaning Tool

The Ultra-Lite Lance is a hand-held portable waterjet tool that directs ultra-high pressure (UHP) water for cutting, stripping, and cleaning. Typical applications are surface preparation for painting, stripping corrosion and overspray residue, and removing grease and oil from soiled surfaces.

Water is supplied to the lance from a Jet Edge Ultra-High Pressure UHP waterjet intensifier pump capable of producing up to 36,000 psi (2532 kg/cm2) of water pressure. The water is extruded through an orifice to produce a concentrated stream for water jet cutting, or through a fan-shaped outlet for waterjet surface stripping and cleaning. The fan tip can be rotated 360° for precise aiming of the water stream. Water flow is controlled by a hand-squeeze trigger. The trigger shifts a spring-loaded plunger that normally keeps a poppet-style calve closed. When the plunger is shifted the poppet opens and water flows to the water jet cutting head. The UltraLite Lance minimizes operator fatigue during vertical and overhead applications because it is easily held in a natural horizontal position. Interchangeable extension tubes and handles are available.

Standard Features

• The UltraLite Lance portable waterjet tool is supplied with a 36-inch (91mm) extension tube as standard length. Threaded stainless tubing of suitable grade can be purchased in any length for special requirements.
